Workshops
We don’t talk at young people — we talk with them.
our facilitators don’t stick to a script — they read the room, adjust the tone, and shape the session around what’s actually happening in the space. It’s real. It’s grounded. And it’s built to have lasting emotional and educational impact.
Our Approach
Every session begins with connection.
Before diving in, we take a moment to acknowledge the room — to ask whether anyone has ever been affected by the topic we’re exploring. There’s no pressure to share details. A quiet raised hand is enough. It sets the tone: this is a space for honesty, for reflection, and for respect.
At the heart of our work is the “Where Do I Stand…” format — an active, movement-based structure that invites learners to explore big questions by physically positioning themselves on a continuum. It gives them a way to express what they think or feel, without needing to find the perfect words or speak in front of a crowd.
We know what it means to step into rooms where trust is fragile — where students may be carrying anxiety, trauma, pressure, or simply the exhaustion of being misunderstood.
what happens
We create an atmosphere that feels different from a lesson.
Opposing views can be heard without judgement
Learners feel free to be honest, even with staff in the room
What’s shared in the space stays in the space
Young people are encouraged to speak and move for themselves — not follow the crowd
All sessions are 50 minutes long, blending performance, storytelling, discussion, and real-life scenarios.
We work with schools and colleges across a range of themes guided by the PSHE curriculum and safeguarding priorities.
Why does this format work so well?
Our workshops are developed and delivered by professional actors, directors, and facilitators with real experience in both theatre and youth work. This means we’re finely tuned to the emotional temperature of a room. We notice body language. We spot when a student is withdrawn, when a comment doesn’t land right, or when someone needs space.
This sensitivity to non-verbal cues — often missed in traditional settings — allows us to guide the session in a way that feels human and respectful. For students, this creates a deeper sense of safety and connection.
For staff, it builds trust and confidence in the process, knowing that even challenging topics are being handled with care, intuition, and professionalism.
